VIBETONE RECORDING STUDIO

Situated in the beautiful sunshine coast hinterland town of Pomona, Queensland…..the vibe of this powerful studio provides great inspiration for any artist, musician and band. Along with the best in studio pro audio equipment, and engineered by one of Australia’s most influential musicians, owner - Benjy Pocock.

The studio is fully air conditioned with many rooms for specific recording applications. Providing a vocal booth, auxilary booth, live/drum room and control room. It is also fully self contained with kitchenette, bathroom and outdoor leisure area.

Benjy has always had a passion and recognized gift for capturing ‘true to life’ sounds; whether that be acoustic guitar, vocals, electric guitar, drum kit or a full band playing live. Benjy is an engineer that musicians have come to trust to capture their sound. In this day and age, where more and more engineers rely on ‘modeling’ software, samples and pitch and timing correction, Benjy believes that the best music is still created, when you ‘get it right at the source’.

Benjy is your engineer first and a musician second. You can expect him to care about the art and musical quality of your work without compromising your sound because of the latest technical gimmick or his own agenda. At ‘vibetone’, the technology is used to help capture you at your best, not as an end in itself.
